What this service is

Miniature Paints Compare is an independent comparison site. We are not a retailer and we do not sell paint. We earn an affiliate commission when a reader buys through some of the retailers we link to, and that commission never buys a place in the index, an order in it, or a favourable description.

How we are paid

No retailer has paid for a place in the price index or for the order it appears in. The index includes retailers that pay us nothing.

About the price index

The price index is compiled by fetching each retailer's own range pages and matching every quoted price verbatim against the page text on the date shown. A figure is the lowest price printed on that page and is a representative entry price for the retailer, not the price of any one named pot, because shops stock different ranges in different pack sizes.

No warranty

Hobby ranges are discounted continually, stock changes, and the figure that decides your purchase is the one on the retailer's own page at the time you buy. Read every cell on this site with the date beside it.
